7UP Biscuits

I found another tasty recipe off of pintrest last week from Monster Mama and I've been dying to try it out. So this morning I didn't have a choice but to make them with our gravy. They were beautifully simple to make. Came out PERFECT. AND so FLUFFY!!

7Up Biscuit Recipe:

2 cups Bisquick
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1/2 cup 7-up
1/4 cup melted butter

Cut sour cream into bisquick. Add 7-up to mixture. Your texture should be creamy but sticky. Sprinkle your counter or cutting board with some bisquick then add your dough and pat it out. Add your butter to a 9" square bake pan. Cut your dough into your desired size then add to your pan on top of the butter. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

I used a pastry cutter to cut in the sour cream, but a fork can be used just as easily. I didn't read the directions well enough and I used all purpose flour instead of bisquick, but it can out perfect regardless. Also I used a regular cutting board and a pizza cutter to cut my biscuits out.

My family LOVED these biscuits. In fact there weren't any left after breakfast this morning. It has been requested that I make more for a snack later. We'll see though.
