Happy Number 7

HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY CARTER!!
We love you so very much!

So this past weekend wasn't a complete bust after all. Mark and the kids cancelled their camping plans with the cub scouts this past weekend to stay home and "take care of me". We ended up having a camp out in the living room. We even made s'mores over the fire. The kids slept under the homemade tent daddy helped construct and we slept on the pull out bed. Correction Mark slept on the pull out bed and momma made her way upstairs around 1am to lay in her own bed BY HERSELF. It was amazing. Seriously.

After a good nights rest Mark and Carter ventured out to get a special birthday breakfast from Dunkin Donuts. Carter got to pick where we went for dinner too. Turnin 7 didn't change much because he picked Smashburger; same as last year!

On our way to Smashburger!

After dinner we visited Colonial Dorchester State Park so I could take some pictures of the kids. I brought my tripod and bunch of small props to take pictures with so we could take a couple family photos, because we do not have not one family photo of all of us together. I got a lot of really great pictures of the kids. I even got some of Aidan sitting on the quilt my Aunt Elaine made for me out of my grandmothers quilting fabric. Just when I was about to start taking pictures of all of us, everyone started complaining about the bugs. They were HORRIBLE. We were all bit numerous times, so I conceded and packed everything up to leave. Maybe next time we'll get some family pictures!

While we were walking around at the park Carter says, "I know I'm 7, but I don't feel any different. What is it supposed to feel like?".
