A Father's Blessing

We spend a lot of days at Summerville Pediatric Dentistry. A lot of our money gets spent there too! Landen's doing great with his expander. Dr. Katie thinks in 2 more visits and there should be enough space to put his top braces on. Then they should be off around Christmas time. At that time she will pay up with her end of the deal- movie tickets and popcorn!

The very next Friday we were back at SPD to see Dr. Baker for his 6 month check up! He got the all clear. NO cavities!!!

You never really can know what your walking into there. This particular Friday was 80's Workout Day! Isn't Dr. Baker cute!

Later that night we had a gnarly looking storm roll through. I got some good pictures of the clouds. They were pretty cool looking, What wasn't cool was the straight line winds that threw our patio chairs around like rag dolls. I had the kids go into the downstairs bathroom, because honestly it looked like the trampoline was going to fly with Dorothy.

This guy. Can you believe this guy? I can't. In 2 days this guy will be 8 months old already. I can hardly believe it. He's not exactly crawling yet, but he has successfully started to pull himself up next to things. He is unbelievably adorable and has the biggest smile. He's into everything. Nothing is safe anymore. I just can't get enough of my Aidan Snuggles.

Just because it's summer doesn't mean it's all play around here. We're still studying and reading like champs.

Carter practices lessons online and continues his reading and writing.

I have no problems getting Landen to read. No surprise there. He practices his cursive writing almost everyday as well.

For father's day this year I set out to do something fun with the kids. I had a lot of plans. I had plans for Pappaw and Grandpa too. As usual life happened and our busy lives interfered. We made cute signs that said "I Love Daddy", "I love Pappaw",  and "I love Grandpa". We even made some for Mamma and Grandma too. We went to Azalea Park on several occasions to take pictures and videos. After a couple attempts I managed to get some good pictures of the kids. I had pintrested some really cute cards and crafts to make for everyone. The only craft we managed to get done was Daddy's rock picture frame. As I was going through my pictures half of my videos seem to have disappeared along with the pictures I took of the kids with their "I love Grandpa" sign. Just vanished. No where to be seen. I'm sorry that we couldn't find your pictures Grandpa Hammel. I promise we had some beautiful pictures for you. :(

I wanted to make a lengthy Fathers Day video, but all I got was a couple short videos.
WE LOVE YOU DADDY!!
