Playroom Transformation: Part 2

I've slowly but surely been working on our playroom. After everything settled down after Christmas I took a trip to Target and spent all of my gift cards (I didn't get myself anything..as always). I picked up some cute alphabet letters to stick on the wall. I love the ones you can stick to the wall and rearrange when needed. I believe I paid $10 for them. Then I picked up some small white shelves that I'm turning into small benches for the kids to sit and read on. I'm working on getting my cushions made. I have the fabric and cushions, I just need to get sewing. I also got a pink 9 cube shelf, along with some particularly cute storage baskets. I went through majority of the unpacked boxes and what I didn't immediately need got placed in the hallway to be put into the attic.

Some thing's I'm still working on:
The wall that has the two benches will eventually be the home of the boy's hot wheel wall tracks. We have A LOT of wall tracks. The other wall next to the 9 cube shelf will hold their chalk board (which is ready for paint anytime..just need the time and energy). Some other thing's we're waiting on getting is a new sleeper sofa for the playroom. We'll be having a house full of guests before too long and we need somewhere for them to sleep. We're hoping we'll be able to get a "newer" tv (not necessarily new) and possibly an entertainment center. I would like to start sanding down our old bookshelf so I can either paint or stain it. Last but not least I would like to find a decent area rug to go with the couch. These are all thing's that will need to wait for a little bit, except the couch. We need the couch asap...part of our tax return will go towards that.

Before..

Before...

After...

After...

I feel like I've come a long ways with this room. You can actually walk through the room without endangering your life. That should say something, right?
